Someone is asking me to move to Instagram or Telegram, or asking me for money — what should I do?

This is a common tactic used by scam accounts. We encourage keeping conversations on EQUALS, because once they move off-platform we can't monitor them or keep you safe. Don't move apps, send money, or share personal photos. Block the user and report them to us via our User Reporting Form and include any screenshots so we can ban them.
